Strymon Brigadier

Delay effect pedal that features a super-powerful SHARC DSP with 32-bit floating point processing which dedicates all of the horsepower to doing one thing – delivering the best analogue bucket brigade sound ever. Its hand crafted, processor-intense dBucket algorithm delivers all of the sonic complexities of analogue bucket brigade chip and the associated clock driver circuitry with none of the drawbacks. The pedal provides three delay time modes: Short, Medium and Long, plus Tap Tempo modes for quarter, dotted eighth and eighth note triplets. The Bucket Loss control to vary the amount of loss that occurs at each stage, while the Filter control adjusts the tone of the delay repeats. Other features include a dedicated Modulation control and Infinite Repeats after pressing and holding the Tap switch. The pedal is equipped with ultra low noise, high performance 24-bit 96kHz A/D and D/A converters, analogue dry path for a zero latency dry signal that is never converted to digital and premium analogue front end and output section. The pedal provides a high impedance mono input (internal jumper enables selectable TRS stereo input) and a stereo output, Tap Tempo and Bypass footswitches, an expression pedal input that allows the connection of either an expression pedal (for selectable control over any knob parameter) or Favourite switch (to save a favourite preset), plus an adjustable +/- 3dB boost or cut when the effect is engaged. The +8dBu maximum input level easily handles instrument and line signals. The pedal is a true bypass (electromechanical relay switching) but also offers selectable “trails” mode with high quality Analog Buffered Bypass. It is powered with a standard 9V centre negative DC supply, 250mA minimum, and features strong and lightweight sky green anodized aluminium chassis. Typical S/N ratio: 115 dB. Frequency response: 20 Hz-20 kHz.
