Individual electronic drum pads are used to expand, repair or build your own electronic drum setup. Choose them according to the part they replace, the module they will work with and the playing feel you need. Always check size, output type, number of zones and compatibility with the exact module before buying.

Pad types in an electronic kit

snare pads handle the main backbeat and rim work, bass drum pads provide the kick foundation and hi-hat pads fill out tom passages. Groove character depends strongly on cymbal pads and tom pads, where zones, sensitivity and possible choke function matter. If a mounting part is missing, also check hardware for electronic drums.

Compatibility matters more than the name

Not every pad works with every module in the same way. Differences can be in the connector, zone wiring, dynamic support or how the module reads a pedal and rim hits. If you are unsure, compare the pad with the module manual and the free inputs on the kit.
