The O-port Small (classical guitar) works similarly to the tornavoz used by Torres in his early work. (However, it was made of brass in the shape of a cylinder, reaching almost to the bottom of the instrument, where it was perforated.) The O-port quite dramatically emphasizes the overtones from the strings, i.e. the bass is denser and the treble is more ringing. (In the case of the medium-class Hanika instrument, I will also try the Hruš and Adalid-Hopf lattice doubletop - then I will add this information.) Only that unfortunate plastic "rantl" of about 4 mm lying on the outside of the guitar rosette looks truly appalling!

Pros: Concentrates and slows down the sound stream to the listener - more massive bass, more ringing treble.

Cons: Ugly strip of plastic across the guitar's rosette.
