Body of the instrument is made of swamp ash with high-figured quilt maple tone and genuine, uniquely boutique flame maple binding. Bolt-on maple neck with modern “C” shape features a dual-action truss rod. Compound (10.5” to 16”) radius fingerboard is made of rosewood and provides 22 medium jumbo frets, dot inlays and a bone string nut. Scale length is 647.7 mm, nut width is 43 mm. Guitar is equipped with the Rockfield Mini Humbucker pickup in the neck position and the Rockfield SWC Humbucker in the bridge position. Sonically, the Rockfield pickups are perfectly voiced for the 1955 model and each can be independently switched from humbucker to a traditional single coil tone with the GREAT 8 electronics mod which delivers eight distinctive tonal options and all are just a simple click, push or pull away. Master Volume (push/pull coil tap), Master Tone (push/pull coil tap) and 3-way blade switch are also provided. Instrument further features a T-style bridge, a 1950’s headstock, die-cast machine heads, chrome hardware and D’Addario EXL110 strings (.010-.046). Caramel Burst colour design.
