Epiphone Joe Bonamassa 1962 ES-335 Sixties Cherry Semi-Acoustic Guitar

Some guitars are more special than others, even if they belong to a world famous guitarist and guitar collector like Joe Bonamassa. In 1996, he bought a red Gibson ES-335 from 1962 and used it on his first solo album, A New Day Yesterday. In 2001, he sold the guitar to finance his move from New York to Los Angeles. As the 20th anniversary of Joe's first album approached, a twist of fate and an unexpected phone call lead Joe to reunite with his old friend, the red ES-335, which led him to his first solo album and gave him a new lease on life in the West. coast. Joe was happy to have his old guitar back and promised himself that this important instrument would accompany him for the rest of his life. The Epiphone Joe Bonamassa 1962 ES-335 is a tribute to the legendary guitarist and one of his prized instruments.

It features a one-piece mahogany neck with an Indian laurel fingerboard and a comfortable Rounded C profile, Gibson BurstBucker 2 and 3 pickups wired into CTS potentiometers and Mallory capacitors, a Switchcraft A switch for pickup selection, an output jack, and a Maestro Vibrola bridge. Also included in the package is a custom hard case with Epiphone and Joe Bonamassa graphics and a certificate of authenticity.
