Great Hi Gain distortion! It goes from a slightly dirty clean with the gain at minimum to an exaggerated distortion with the gain at maximum but always intelligible, dynamic and with a creamy sound. It cleans up very well with the guitar's volume pot and the bass and treble present on the pedal are very effective in properly sculpting your sound. The mids are instead set fixed by the house but it is enough to push back the bass and treble to bring out gritty, powerful mids capable of piercing any mix. On my 94' Fender Evil Twin it sounds great both with a guitar equipped with Humbuckers (Gibson Les Paul) and with a guitar equipped with single coils (Fender Strat and Telecaster). The pedal presents itself with an exaggeratedly fascinating look with a Vintage taste, robust and solid both under the hands and under the feet :-) It is a distortion pedal that I recommend for its versatility.
