The ultra-portable MPK Mini Play is based on the world's most popular midi controller - the MPK Mini from Akai Professional - but now features 128 built-in sounds and its own built-in speaker. With 8 backlit MPC drum pads and a 4-way joystick for easy operation, players have everything they need to play music anytime, anywhere. Four knobs (two banks capable of controlling eight different parameters) can be used to fine-tune sounds and adjust multiple parameters in real time, giving musicians even more options. MPK Mini Play is powered by "AA" batteries and is designed for hours of wireless entertainment.

It's not just mini keys, the MPK Mini Play can also be connected to a computer via a USB port for the same plug-and-play MIDI functionality as classic MPK Mini drivers.
