Tempera paints are intended in particular for art lessons in schools but professional painters use them as well. Their quality is high, they are thick, miscible, and dilutable in water. The paint dries quickly and can be liquified after drying with water. The base is finely squashed pigments mixed with an emulsion of suitable oil and binder.
