Vintage VTR800PB Natural Folk Guitar
The steel string electro-acoustic Viator delivers a focused, punchy, assertive tonality with high string-to-string definition and size defying volume, from its compact parlour sized body.
Themed on the small bodied parlour guitars from the 1920’s and 30’s, this beautiful steel strung travel guitar is constructed using sensibly harvested tonewoods of the finest quality, selected for their striking looks and exceptional sustain and warm mellow tones.
Solid Sitka spruce is the tonewood choice for the soundboard, renowned for its broad dynamic range, while a body crafted from sapele produces a strong bass response, midrange and top end definition, heightened by internal custom X scalloped bracing and sustain and harmonic qualities of the Graph Tech NuBone nut and saddle.
Eye catching features include bindings and detailed purfling mirrored within the intricate rosette design, open headstock design, open-geared smooth action machine heads and functional pin style bridge design for effortless string changing.
The Vintage Viator Travel Guitar, visually stunning, sonically brilliant.
Top: Solid Spruce
The solid spruce top offers clear, penetrating tone with exceptional projection. The sound is dynamic and balanced, with rich highs and solid bass. Over time, the tone evolves and improves, adding more depth and complexity to the sound.
Neck: Nato
The nato neck provides strength and stability while contributing to a warm and balanced tone.
Fretboard: Rosewood
Rosewood is a dark, dense wood that offers a warm, rich tone with excellent response and sustain. The rosewood fingerboard is valued for its smoothness and comfortable feel while offering durability and longevity. It is popular for its rich sound and classic aesthetic.
Finish: Satin
The satin finish is popular for its ability to combine the properties of both a glossy and matte finish. This type of finish provides a soft sheen, less intense than gloss but more pronounced than matte. This creates a smooth to touch, lightly reflective surface which gives an elegant and sophisticated appearance. The satin finish is ideal for those looking for a balance between visual appeal and convenience, as it can hide small imperfections and fingerprints better than glossy surfaces.
