Upstairs in-home delivery service directly to your apartment

Make use of our extra service and have your oversized shipment delivered directly to your apartment. GEIS employees will now carry the goods exactly where you need them to, without your help.

What is it going to look like?

• Before the delivery, the carrier will text you with the information about the time and date of the courier's arrival.
• Once the courier is on the way, he will get in touch with you by phone.
• When receiving the goods, check whether the packaging is alright and intact. If you happen to notice slight damage to the packaging, we recommend that you do take over the shipment, but have a written record of this damage issued by the driver. If the damage is significant, do not accept the shipment and return it to the carrier.
• If you like, the crew of the carrier will remove and dispose of the packaging material of the new product.

What do you need to do?

• Carefully take the measurements of the place where you want to put your new purchase. Make sure that it will fit there and that there is a sufficient space around it for handling.
• ;Check the access path in advance to see if there are any obstacles on it. Make sure that the width of the door or staircase allows the courier to take your goods to the desired location.
• Remove anything from the access path that could be in the carrier’s way when handling the goods. Vases, mirrors, coat racks and similar items might get damaged when manipulating an oversized shipment.
• We recommend covering wooden floors with a carpet or cardboard to prevent scratching them. Couriers wear work shoes and will not take them off while carrying a heavy load.

  The service will be activated immediately after payment. The final price in your cart will be automatically increased by the value of the extra service.

  The carrier will take your oversized parcel directly to your apartment and deliver it in a place you show them.
