Takamine GD30 Natural

Left-handed version of one of Takamine’s best selling G Series acoustic models. This classy looking dreadnought guitar features solid-top construction, a beautiful gloss finish and all the full, rich sound players have come to expect from this classic body style. The most popular body shape of the past half century, the Dreadnought delivers a strong low end with plenty of volume. Perfect for any player looking for a great all around acoustic guitar that can cover any style, the guitar combines a solid spruce top with mahogany back and sides that produce a rich, resonant sound. The slim mahogany neck and 12”-radius rosewood/ovankgol fingerboard provide great feel and playability, while the split-saddle design of the pin-less rosewood/ovankgol bridge provides superior intonation for sweeter-sounding chords and single-note runs. Other great features include a synthetic bone nut and bridge saddle, rosewood/ovankgol headcap, pearloid rosette and dot inlays, chrome die-cast tuners and a beautiful gloss finish. Natural colour design.

My third Tak. Sound is fantastic. A little high setting for my taste and sharp fret edges. Otherwise 5 stars.

Comming from electric guitar, years and years of playing Japanese Fenders and ESP, made me the worst kind of nitpicky guitar snob. So when I bought this guitar I was preparing, almost anticipating the moment I will loudly complain how bad is this guitar, even for the price. The guitar came, it was well packaged (and shout out to the guys at muziker.bg for coping with my strange working schedule). I tuned it up, played like 4 chords, and then spent the next 30 min checking for fret buzz, fret sprout, high action, cosmetic defects, bad mojo and wrong shade of black. Then I played some more and now I feel qualified to give full review of every aspect of the design, craftsmanship, esthetics and playability of this guitar. Here we go *clears throat*: Yes.
