Egy ukuleléhez képest nagyon tiszta, csengő hangja van. Jó anyagokból, szépen összerakták, de egyszerű díszítésű, matt lakkozású, semmi feltűnő sincs rajta. A Takamine felirat is minimalista, ebben a kategóriában lehetne akár gyöngyházberakásos is a logója (lehet, hogy csak a Japánban gyártott hangszereket díszítik így?). A hangszedője hozza amit kell, szépen kierősíthető a hangszer. Nagyon tetszik!
