The toolkit features four distinct microphone signals: KM84 for a clear and sharp acoustic sound, Coles for a deep, lo-fi tape effect, Processed for a signature layered tone enhanced with Pultec EQ and 1178 compressors, and Spaced for a unique spatial perspective crafted by Ólafur himself.

Beyond the felt piano, the Composer Toolkit includes nearly 100 presets within Spitfire's Mercury synth engine. These presets offer a wide range of organic and synthetic sounds, tempo-locked rhythms, and sonic manipulations designed to inspire creativity and streamline the composition process.
