B-Series Dynamics Module from SSL brings the aggressive character of the SL 4000 B console channel dynamics into the 500-Series format. This module delivers heavily coloured, grabby, and saturated compression inspired by the original 4000 B, famously used on iconic recordings such as Phil Collins’ "In the Air Tonight" and Peter Gabriel’s "Intruder".

The unique feedback design uses the fader VCA from the original console, giving the module a distinctive sonic signature unlike later E and 9000 Series modules. Features include stepped compression ratios, multiple release settings including Auto, a De-Ess mode, sidechain high-pass filter, and stereo link capability.
