Slaughter Beach Dog is an indie rock band from Philadelphia, formed in 2014 by Jake Ewald, previously of Modern Baseball. The band began as Ewald’s solo project before becoming his main focus after Modern Baseball’s hiatus. Early members included bassist Ian Farmer, guitarist Nick Harris, and drummer Zack Robbins. The group is known for its introspective songwriting and thoughtful blend of rock and folk influences.
