Active pickups
Active EMG pickups provide the instrument with a much higher output signal, which better copes with both the different input impedance of the guitar amplifier and practically any cable length. The signal is much less susceptible to cable-induced interference, such as hum, etc., and is also significantly more tolerant of, for example, guitar transmitters, which affect its sound significantly less than passive pickups. Another bonus is the extended sustain, thanks to the fact that the magnetic field of the pickup does not limit the oscillation of the strings as with passive pickups, mainly due to the higher sensitivity itself. The better ability to wake up the tube amplifier with a higher output signal and the resulting easier achievement of the desired distortion level is also quite obvious.

EMG 707 TW
The active EMG 707 TW pickup is actually two completely different pickups in one. With most previous passive pickups, the seven-string instruments of the time sounded muddy and dull on the "B" string, especially if you wanted to play a natural or artificial flageolet. The arrival of the EMG 707 in 2001 solved these problems and brought the most specific and full sound that a seven-string guitar can ever offer.
The magnetic alloy AlNiCo V in combination with wide-slotted coils adds density to the low "B" string while strengthening the overall sound. Whether you're playing wide and ringing jazz chords in the style of "Opeth" or muted and chopped "death" riffs, all played notes and flageolets are concrete and clearly articulated, even if you use a lot of "killer" amplifier settings.

The "TW" variant takes the sound of the successful 707 to the next level. Its dense and energetic sound designed for maximum distortion is complemented by the "Single Coil" mode, which adds a full, clean tone with a lot of punch to the pickup. The pickup also has two independent internal preamps, ideally suited to the needs of both types of sound, thanks to which its gain is slightly higher than previous EMG models.
The Push / Pull potentiometer can be easily switched between the two modes. The pickup can be used in both the neck and bridge positions. Scott Hull (Pig Destroyer), Christopher Bradley (Beneath The Massacre) create their sound through this pickup.

Through-the-neck
In instruments with a through-the-neck, the wooden prism forming the neck material passes through the center along the entire length of the body. The above solution has several positive effects. The first of these is easy accessibility to the highest positions of the fingerboard due to the absence of a foot at the junction of the body and neck compared to classically designed instruments. Another bonus is better transmission of string resonance between the body and the neck. instrument, neck and bridge, which ideally compensates for the slight loss of sustain in instruments with a double-return tremolo. And the last advantage is the overall better stability and rigidity of the instrument.

Baritone scale
The scale extended to 673 mm allows you to easily tune the instrument up to several tones. Even with very low tuning, there are no problems with loose strings and it is not necessary to use extremely strong sets. This makes the game more comfortable and the player can more comfortably alternate between accompanying and solo playing techniques. The dense sound with long sustain finds application in Hardcore, Nu-Metal and other hard music styles.

Lockable nut fret and Floyd Rose tremolo
The Floyd Rose double-return tremolo in combination with the locking nut fret allows you to use even the most vigorous guitar playing techniques without losing precise tuning. A proven, tested and virtually unsurpassed construction that has been used by players all over the world for decades.
Тype

Тype: Superstrat

The Superstrat is a type of electric guitar based on the design of the Stratocaster, but modified for a more aggressive style of playing, especially in the hard rock and metal genres.
