They play as expected. For the price, I think it's a pretty good buy. No hifi ecstasy, but I was buying them as a supplement to the Presonus Eris 3,5", for a small home studio to such a rough home mixing. The assumption was that they would play in similar frequency spectrums, and with small variations, they do. The earcups are quite large and a bit hard, they separate quite decently, not completely, which I didn't even want. On the whole, they met my expectations. Definitely not "cutting edge", no exclusivity, but that's not what I was looking for either... For me 4,5 in the price range... If I wanted cutting edge I would buy the VSX from Steven Slate, but I don't do pro mastering.🤘
