FSM01SB is an 8-string A-style mandolin with a mahogany body in Sun Black finish. Mahogany construction delivers a warm, stable tone with rich resonance that improves over time, offering greater durability than instruments built from softer tonewoods.

The body is crafted from mahogany, a tonewood prized for its warm mid-range character and structural stability. Mahogany provides longer-lasting performance than basswood alternatives and develops a richer tone with continued playing.
