It is made of incredibly fragile "stuff". It reminds me of Abonett, so it's no wonder that although it was nicely wrapped, it arrived in pieces, broken. It must be some kind of pressed wood but it is very fragile indeed. Several elements were glued together which caused it to come loose. Not suitable for storing bakelite plates for this reason. Maybe if you put one in and put it on the wall as a decoration. But I wouldn't put any of my favourite records in it. I'm not sending it back because it's not worth the hassle. I'll keep it as a template and make one myself out of quality wood instead, because I really like the idea itself. I'm extremely sorry and as it doesn't do the job, I'll give it one star.
