The Mackie Thrash 212 is a 1300-watt powered loudspeaker built for bands, DJs, and gigging musicians who want raw output without menu-diving. A 12" woofer paired with a 1" titanium compression driver delivers 125 dB SPL for loud rehearsals, basement shows, and small-venue gigs. Two XLR/TRS combo inputs accept mic- or line-level sources, and a built-in thermal limiter keeps the Class-D amp safe when you push it hard.

  • 1300W Class-D amplification drives a 12" high-performance woofer and 1" titanium compression driver for full-range output
  • Dual XLR/TRS combo inputs with mic/line switching plus a Mix Out for daisy-chaining additional cabinets
  • Built-Like-A-Tank enclosure with four handles, a standard pole mount, and a dual-angle wedge for floor-monitor use
  • 16.51 kg cabinet that one person can carry, load, and set up between sets

Mackie Thrash 212 — Raw Power for Working Musicians

The Mackie Thrash 212 is a 12-inch two-way powered loudspeaker for bands, DJs, and rehearsal rooms that need serious volume fast. Inside the Built-Like-A-Tank cabinet sits a 1300-watt ultra-efficient Class-D amplifier driving a 12" high-performance woofer and a 1" titanium compression driver. The result is 125 dB of maximum SPL across a 52 Hz – 20 kHz range, voiced to cut through in loud basement shows and small venues. The Thrash 212 is the right choice for working players who want plug-in-and-play output with no menus or Bluetooth pairing.

What Sets the Thrash 212 Apart

Where many powered speakers in this tier bury users under DSP presets, this speaker keeps the rear panel simple: two combo inputs, a per-channel line/mic attenuator, a master volume, and a Mix Out. An automatic thermal limiter protects the Class-D amp, while four handles and a dual-angle 45° monitor wedge make the cabinet gig-ready.

Key Specifications at a Glance

The numbers behind this speaker explain why it punches above its class.

  • Amplifier Power: 1300 W ultra-efficient Class-D — headroom for a five-piece band at club level
  • Drivers: 12" high-performance woofer + 1" titanium compression driver — two-way bi-amped design covering 52 Hz – 20 kHz
  • Max SPL: 125 dB — loud enough for small-venue front-of-house without sub support
  • Two XLR/TRS combo jacks accepting mic- and line-level signals — a dynamic vocal mic plugs straight into either channel with no extra preamp
  • Mix Out (XLR) — daisy-chain to a second cabinet or sub
  • Standard pole-mount socket, dual-angle 45° wedge, four handles, 16.51 kg cabinet

Who the Thrash 212 Is Built For

Solo singer-songwriters, garage bands, mobile DJs, and houses of worship on a tight budget will find a match here. This cabinet suits players who need a single box handling vocals, electric guitar, and acoustic instruments without external processing. First-time PA users can get sound out of the box in under a minute.

Man muss Preis/Leistung vergleichen.

I use the speaker as a mid-tweeter, and it does the job perfectly. As a full-range speaker, we can't expect any powerful bass or high volume at this price point, but the sound is good for a plastic enclosure.

Добро съотношение цена качество. Ползват се 4 броя в пиано бар и за неговите нужди се справят много добре.

Good value for money. Used 4 pieces in a piano bar and for his needs did very well.
