Lloyd Banks, born Christopher Charles Lloyd in 1982, is an American rapper known for his sharp lyricism and impactful presence in hip hop. He first gained prominence as a founding member of G-Unit alongside 50 Cent and Tony Yayo, breaking through with their debut album Beg for Mercy in 2003. Banks achieved solo success with his debut album The Hunger for More, which topped the Billboard charts and featured the hit singles On Fire and Karma. He followed with Rotten Apple in 2006, and later HFM 2 The Hunger For More 2 in 2010, marking a critical resurgence.
