Karaoke Speakers

A karaoke speaker is a speaker with a microphone: you play a song from your phone over Bluetooth and sing along to it. This category has two groups: portable karaoke speakers for parties and celebrations from Zealot, Ikarao, Denver, Ibiza Sound and Fonestar, and kids' karaoke microphones and sets with their own speaker. Almost all of them have a built-in battery, so you can sing out in the garden too. The kids' models feature PAW Patrol, Hello Kitty, Bluey or Minecraft characters.

Karaoke speakers for parties: what should you look for?

• Microphones in the box: the Zealot S61M and S66M come with two microphones, so two people can sing at once.
• Output: some Zealot models have 20 W, the kids' microphones around 5 W.
• Battery and charging: most charge via USB-C, and the OTL kids' microphones play for about 4 hours.
• Music without a phone: some models play songs from a memory card or a USB stick.
• Light effects: LED lighting is found on the Denver KMS-20B and the PopSing kids' ranges, for example.

Which karaoke microphone is right for kids?

For younger children there are OTL PopSing karaoke microphones with a speaker right inside the microphone. They light up, connect to a phone via Bluetooth, and some can change your voice. The PopSing sets add a separate speaker to the microphone. That way a child can sing a song from their favourite cartoon without any extra cables.

You'll find more microphones for little ones among the kids' microphones, and bigger singing setups in the karaoke systems and microphones category.
