Released on 23rd March 1998, “Virtual XI” is the eleventh studio album by English heavy metal band Iron Maiden. The album's title is tied in with two extra-musical events: the release of the band's computer game, Ed Hunter, and the fact that the 1998 FIFA World Cup would be taking place in June of that year. While most of the artwork in the album's booklet was taken from the Ed Hunter game, the cover was created by Melvyn Grant. The album’s artwork is now available as a 500 piece jigsaw puzzle printed on high quality board.
