Ice Spice, born Isis Naija Gaston on January 1, 2000, is an American rapper and songwriter from the Bronx, New York. She launched her career in 2020 while attending college and quickly rose to prominence after her breakout single "Munch (Feelin' U)" went viral in 2022. Known for her distinct style, she followed up with hits like "Princess Diana" with Nicki Minaj, and high-profile collaborations including "Boy's a Liar Pt. 2" with PinkPantheress, "Karma" with Taylor Swift, and "Barbie World" with Nicki Minaj and Aqua. These tracks all reached the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100, making her a standout presence in 2023. In 2024, she released her debut album Y2K. Ice Spice has won major awards such as Best New Artist at the MTV Video Music Awards and has earned multiple Grammy nominations.
