Giona Ostinelli is a Swiss–Italian composer based in Los Angeles, best known for his acclaimed work on Netflix’s hit series The Witcher. Alongside his scoring partner Sonya Belousova, Ostinelli co-composed and produced the popular Witcher soundtrack, which achieved major chart success with the viral single Toss A Coin To Your Witcher. The soundtrack reached number one on iTunes Top Soundtracks and Billboard Digital Rock Songs, and was praised by major outlets as one of the standout music hits of 2020. Ostinelli has scored more than 35 feature films, with premieres at top festivals including Sundance, Tribeca, Cannes, and South by Southwest. His music for the thriller Darling was recognized for its innovative sound, and his score for POD was shortlisted for an Academy Award. Beyond film and television, Ostinelli has contributed to notable theater productions, including Tobio The Puppet Master in Moscow.
