Elliot John Gleave, known professionally as Example, is an English musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He began his career with the album What We Made in 2007 and the mixtape What We Almost Made in 2008. Example rose to prominence in 2010 with Won't Go Quietly, which included the hit singles Won't Go Quietly and Kickstarts. His following albums, Playing in the Shadows and The Evolution of Man, produced chart-topping singles like Changed the Way You Kiss Me and Stay Awake. Example continued his success with songs such as All the Wrong Places and Kids Again, and released his fifth studio album, Live Life Living, in 2014.
