A "miért lett megvéve ?", mert erősen nosztalgia. Rengeteg fotót, videót megnéztem, hallgattam, meglehetősen jó megközelítése az eredetinek. A gitár önmagában, akusztikusan rettentő hangos, meglepően hangos !

The "why was it bought?" is because it's very nostalgic. I've looked at and listened to a lot of photos and videos, it's a pretty good approximation of the original. The guitar itself, acoustically, is terribly loud, surprisingly loud! I have a few Gretschs, Ibanezs, I can compare them. The workmanship is very good except for two flaws, one was repaired at the factory, the other is almost imperceptible, like two fine bumps on the varnish. The neck is a bit "thick" for me, which is more noticeable because of its roundness, so you can get used to it in a few days. The fingerboard is Indian laurel, surprisingly beautiful, and if you didn't know what it was, you would think it was some good dark rosewood. The binding is good, there are no sharp ends, of course it's not custom shop, but it's good, and the intonation is perfect. The bridge is the usual tragic-looking Epi, it works, has no flaws, but it's ugly as hell. The sound of the guitar is probably very strongly influenced by the unique tailpiece, the "FREKVENSATOR", in a positive direction. The design is impeccable, the chrome plating and polishing are flawless. Epiphone could make a bridge like this someday! Despite their overly simple appearance, the keys work very well, there is no skipping on the groove, the gear does not jerk either. The sound is very jazz guitar-like!!! Especially electrically, although the factory string is not a top category! The mini humbuckers, as in most good videos, are "woody", a little "stiff", they do not have (obviously!), the "thighness" of the normal size, and it really resembles a pronounced jazz guitar in its sound. The potentiometer does not squeak, does not get stuck, this guitar is completely "in one". In summary, it is very good, but it sounds very different from similar ones, it is truly individual.

The guitar is great. If you're looking for an affordable ES-335-ish semi, you look no further. Looks better than the photos. Has that woody hollow tone not obtainable on a solid body. Center block does its job, so it doesn't howl with feedback when you play loud or with overdrive. Pickups feel like better quality. Clear, medium output, flat eq response (kinda like PAFs). The fretwork is nice. Overall setup needs a bit of tweaking (saddle, action, neck curve, tuning) but that's common with new gear. Balanced. Nicely sits on lap and doesn't lean forward when on strap. Easy access to higher frets, not always found in hollow bodies. There's one thing that's strange. Youtube reviews say that volume knobs work independently. In mine they don't - in middle position if you turn down either one the guitar goes silent.
