Cosey Fanni Tutti, born Christine Carol Newby in 1951, is an English performance artist, musician, and writer. She is widely recognized for her pioneering role in the experimental groups Throbbing Gristle and Chris and Cosey. Initially performing as Cosmosis, she later adopted her well-known stage name, inspired by the opera Così fan tutte—a title reflecting the idea of "what all women do." Tutti's work is known for pushing boundaries in both music and performance art.
