Best Coast is a Los Angeles-based rock duo formed in 2009 by Bethany Cosentino and Bobb Bruno. Known for their catchy blend of surf pop and indie rock, Best Coast first gained attention with their 2010 debut album Crazy for You, which found unexpected commercial success and internet buzz. The band followed with The Only Place in 2012, the Fade Away EP in 2013, California Nights in 2015, and Always Tomorrow in 2020, evolving their sound from lo-fi to a more polished style over time. After extensive touring and critical acclaim, Best Coast went on hiatus in 2023 as Cosentino pursued a solo career and Bruno joined the band Nothing.
