The original collections, compiled and published by Sládek at the Fr. A. Urbánek publishing house in 1911 and 1912, were subsequently reissued several times. Together, the two albums contain 270 songs from Bohemia, Moravia, and Slovakia, arranged by Sládek himself or Ján Malát.
