Zaor Rackspace Four Black — Professional Studio Rack for 19-Inch Gear

The Zaor Rackspace Four Black is a professional-grade studio rack designed for serious audio production environments where organization, accessibility, and durability matter. Built from high-grade birch plywood combined with solid ash wood, this rack provides a stable, vibration-resistant home for 19-inch outboard gear, preamps, compressors, and processors. The Rackspace Four Black delivers up to 40 rack units across four bays, each offering 10 RU of mounting space, making it suitable for studios that have outgrown smaller furniture solutions. Its open-frame layout keeps every piece of equipment visible and within reach, so patching, adjusting knobs, and swapping modules becomes a fast, intuitive workflow rather than a chore.

Solid Wood Construction and Open-Access Design

What sets the Rackspace Four Black apart from generic metal rack cases is the combination of solid ash side panels with high-grade birch plywood — a construction choice that conveys a premium feel while ensuring durable support for heavy studio hardware. The open design provides plenty of space around each unit, eliminating the heat and access restrictions of enclosed cabinets. A practical drawer in the lower section keeps less frequently used equipment, cables, and accessories organized and out of sight, while the upper bays sit at typical desk height so the most-used gear becomes part of the working surface.

Technical Specifications — Built for Heavy Studio Loads

The dimensions and material choices of the Rackspace Four Black are engineered to support a fully loaded studio configuration without flex or wobble. The wide footprint accommodates four full bays of 19-inch equipment while keeping the rack stable under significant weight.

Who Is It For — Studios Scaling Up Their Rack Setup

The Zaor Rackspace Four Black is the right choice for producers, engineers, and project studio owners who have accumulated enough outboard gear to outgrow a small desktop rack and need a permanent, furniture-grade home for it. Recording studios, mixing rooms, and post-production facilities benefit from the 40 RU capacity, which covers most channel-strip, dynamics, and conversion needs in a single piece of furniture. The solid wood construction makes it equally suited to a professional commercial studio and a high-end home setup where aesthetics matter as much as function. Anyone running a hybrid analog/digital workflow — combining hardware outboard with a DAW — will appreciate having every processor visible, labeled, and reachable without bending down to a floor case.
