Zaor MATRIX Angled Oak Studio furniture

Professional Studio Desk for Mid-Sized Consoles

The Zaor Matrix Angled Oak is a flagship studio desk for producers and engineers working around a mid-sized console such as the SSL Matrix. Its angled geometry sweeps rack compartments and control surfaces into a semicircle around the seated engineer, so every outboard unit sits within arm's reach. Originally shaped around the SSL Matrix console, the central pocket adapts to any mixer of comparable size.

What Sets the Matrix Angled Apart

Two rows of 11U 19" rack units on each upper side, plus optional 6U at the bottom per side, give room for up to 16 insert devices, so a full hybrid rig of preamps, compressors and converters lives inside the desk. The angled orientation tilts every front-panel display toward the operator, removing neck strain. An elevated monitor shelf at 90 cm lifts near-field and mid-field speakers onto the correct acoustic axis.

Technical Specifications

The 253 cm width fits a full console plus flanking rack columns; the 125 cm depth leaves room for the console pocket, the armrest and a 28 cm deep elevated shelf.

This studio desk is the right choice for professional producers, mixing and mastering engineers, and post-production facilities integrating a mid-sized console and a full hybrid outboard chain in one ergonomic workstation. Project studios upgrading from a generic table will value the integrated rack capacity, the elevated monitor shelf that replaces speaker stands, and the solid wood / MDF construction that adds acoustic mass to the room.
