Music Jackets

Music jackets are mainly denim jackets with a large band print on the back, and on the sleeves of some models too. Most designs feature rock and metal bands such as The Rolling Stones, Guns N' Roses, AC/DC, Slipknot and Pantera, as well as classics such as The Beatles, Queen and Pink Floyd. You'll also find pop, punk and hip hop here. Most jackets have a unisex cut in sizes XS to 2XL, with a smaller selection of women's or hooded styles.

Blue denim, black or canvas?

Blue denim jackets are the most common, giving a light-coloured band print a backdrop that helps it stand out. Black jackets and black denim come next. Light blue washed denim has a worn-in look from day one. Denim jackets are mostly made from cotton, which is strong and breathable; as an outer layer, they're better suited to spring, autumn and a gig in a club than to freezing weather.

Band logo or album artwork?

The design on the back is usually a band logo or an album cover. Jackets with prints on both the back and sleeves, such as Pantera or Yungblud designs, show the graphics from every side. Hip hop is represented by jackets featuring rapper The Notorious B.I.G.

How do you choose a size and care for the print?

Most jackets come from British music merchandise manufacturer Rock Off, so check your size against its chart on the product page. If you'll be wearing a music sweatshirt underneath, measure your chest over it and choose the larger size if your measurement falls on the boundary. The print will last longer if you wash the jacket inside out at a low temperature, keep it out of the tumble dryer and don't iron directly over the image.
