Candle Making Kits

Candle Making Kits contain everything you need for your first candle pouring session at home: moulds, wax, colour, a wick and instructions. You can choose from two ranges. Candle Pouring Set comes in three sizes, Mini, Medium and Maxi, with different numbers of moulds and amounts of wax. Make it! kits use natural soy wax and are recommended by the manufacturer for children aged 10 or 12 and over.

What do Candle Making Kits from the Candle Pouring Set range contain?

Every size includes wax, colouring sticks, a wick, sealing compound, wooden sticks to hold the wick as the wax sets, and instructions for use. Here is how the sizes differ:

Maxi suits you if you want to pour several shapes at once. Mini has the smallest amount of wax and small moulds.

Which Make it! kit is suitable for children?

Make it! kits include reusable moulds, two colour pigments, natural soy wax, cotton wicks and wooden sticks to hold the wick in the centre of the mould. Make it! Soy Wax Candles contains three moulds and 500 g of wax, and the manufacturer recommends it for ages 10 and over. Kits with a face-shaped or diamond-shaped mould contain one mould and 200 g of wax and are suitable for ages 12 and over. Make it! Candle Making and Molding Workshop adds 300 g of Jesmonite casting compound, 400 g of soy wax and gold flakes for decoration, also for ages 12 and over. The manufacturer recommends adult supervision when working with warm wax.

What can you buy when the wax in your kit runs out?

You can find wax granules, wax colours, wicks and wax-melting containers separately in the Candle Making category. A separate pack of soy wax is also available to refill Make it! kits. You can add more shapes with candle moulds and choose a different length of wick from the candle wicks category.
