Boz Digital Labs Boz Gatey Watey 2 (Digital product)

A Smarter Gate for Cleaner Mixes

Boz Gatey Watey 2 is a virtual noise gate plugin that removes unwanted noise and instrument bleed while keeping the musical content intact. Standard gates cut the entire signal when it falls below a threshold, often chopping off natural decay. This plugin uses a crossover network that splits the signal into high and low bands, letting you tame each range independently for a more transparent result.

What Makes Gatey Watey 2 Stand Out

Dual-band gain reduction gives you separate range controls for high and low frequencies plus a customizable crossover point. A lookahead feature preserves transients for smoother opening, and V2 adds internal and external sidechain inputs plus full Apple Silicon native support.

Who Is This Plugin For

Gatey Watey 2 is the right choice for home producers and mix engineers who want a simple gate for drums, guitars, and vocals. It runs in any major DAW on Mac and Windows as AAX, AU, VST2, or VST3, with a perpetual license and no iLok required.
