Vanilla Fudge

Vanilla Fudge

Vanilla Fudge is an American rock band recognized for their slow, heavy reinterpretations of contemporary songs, most famously their version of You Keep Me Hangin' On by the Supremes. Formed in the late 1960s, the original lineup featured Mark Stein, Tim Bogert, Vince Martell, and Carmine Appice. They released five albums between 1967 and 1969 and are known as early pioneers connecting psychedelic rock to the rise of heavy metal and progressive rock. After disbanding in 1970, the band later reunited, performing as recently as 2025 with original members Stein, Martell, and Appice, joined by Pete Bremy on bass following Bogert's retirement and passing.
