Leaves' Eyes is a symphonic metal band from Germany, founded in 2003 by vocalist Liv Kristine, formerly of Theatre of Tragedy, together with members of Atrocity. The band blends powerful metal instrumentation with melodic female vocals, often drawing lyrical inspiration from Norse mythology and Viking history. Over their career, Leaves' Eyes has released several albums and EPs, evolving their sound with both Liv Kristine and her successor Elina Siirala as lead singers, complemented by growled vocals from Alexander Krull. Their music is known for combining epic symphonic elements with metal and folk influences.
