Michael Kelly 1965 Amber Electric guitar
The perfect boutique double-cut for today's player. The body is swamp ash with a highly figured quilt maple top, we then perfect the body with the addition of real flame maple binding. The maple neck has a rosewood fingerboard with a compound radius, this is made for today's more complex playing requirements. The 1965 is upgraded with our Epic Eleven electronics mod. With this hot rodded approach you can access 11 unique sounds. The '65 comes with Rockfield pickups voiced specifically for this guitar. We finish this off by adding a smooth two point tremolo and locking Grover tuners. Get your hands on a 1965 for yourself to enjoy this perfect combination.
Тype: ST-Model
ST model is a general term for electric guitars similar in design and construction to the Fender Stratocaster. These guitars typically feature a triple single-coil pickup, a tremolo lever, and an iconic body shape. This type of guitar is popular in many musical genres for its versatility and pure tone.
Finish: Polished
The glossy finish gives any surface an elegant and luxurious look. This type of finish is achieved by applying several layers of lacquer or resin, which are then polished to a high gloss. This provides a smooth, reflective finish, enhancing color and structure of substrate. The glossy finish not only improves aesthetics, but also protects against dust, moisture and minor scratches.
Body: Swamp Ash
Swamp ash is a lightweight, open-grained wood that produces a bright and dynamic tone with punchy highs, solid lows, and an expressive mid-range. It is valued for its resonance and natural sustain, making it suitable for a wide range of musical styles.
Neck: Maple
Maple is known for its strength and stability, making it ideal for necks that need to resist bending and warping.
Fretboard: Pau Ferro
Pau Ferro is a medium hard wood with a fine texture and brown tones with a fine grain. It offers a clear, articulate tone with a fast response. The Pau Ferro fingerboard is valued for its smoothness and stability, while providing a comfortable feel and aesthetic appearance. It is a popular alternative to rosewood with similar sound characteristics.
Pickups Configuration: HSS
The humbucker-single-coil-single-coil configuration means that the guitar is equipped with one humbucker pickup and two single-coil pickups. This combination offers a powerful and full tone from the bridge humbucker, along with bright and crisp sounds from the single-coil pickups, giving you a wide range of tonal possibilities, ideal for a variety of musical styles.
