Fender Squier Paranormal Electric VI LRL 3-Color Sunburst Electric guitar

Paranormal Electric VI – Compact Power for Modern Players

Paranormal Electric VI brings a bold, vintage‑inspired voice to a sleek, midsize form, perfect for gigging musicians and studio creators alike. This model blends iconic Fender heritage with fresh ergonomic touches, delivering a guitar that sings both classic and contemporary tones. The design centers on a 24.75" scale that feels fast under the fingers while retaining rich low‑end response. Paranormal Electric VI is built for players who crave expressive control without the bulk of a traditional full‑size instrument.

What Makes This Guitar Stand Out

Rare features set the Paranormal Electric VI apart from ordinary six‑string guitars. A 4‑way rotary switch offers in‑phase and out‑of‑phase pickup configurations, expanding tonal palettes beyond typical split‑coil setups. Fender‑designed split‑coil “VI” alnico pickups provide a balanced, articulate sound, while the Mustang‑style floating tremolo supplies smooth pitch modulation. The Coronado‑inspired headstock adds a visual nod to Fender’s historic designs.

Body, Finish & Materials – Resonant Construction

The body’s choice of Nyatoh wood contributes a warm, resonant character that complements the bright attack of the pickups.

• Nyatoh body delivers a balanced tonal response.
• Finish: Gloss Polyurethane — protects the surface while enhancing visual depth.
• Body Shape: Bass VI silhouette — offers a distinctive offset look.

Neck & Fingerboard – Playability Focused

The C‑shaped neck profile and narrow‑tall frets make fast runs and chord transitions effortless.

• Maple neck provides stability and snap.
• Fingerboard Material: Indian Laurel — smooth feel and bright sustain.
• Scale Length: 629 mm — short scale for easy string tension.
• Fingerboard Radius: 241 mm — comfortable curvature for chording and bends.
• Nut Width: 42 mm — slim profile suited to agile playing.

Hardware & Electronics – Precision Control

Every element is chosen for reliability and tonal clarity.

• Vintage Floating Mustang bridge offers classic tremolo feel with stable return.
• Pickups: Fender‑Designed Split‑Coil “VI” Alnico (neck & bridge) — warm, full‑bodied output.
• Switching: 4‑position rotary (bridge, in‑phase, out‑of‑phase, neck) — expands tonal options.
• Controls: Master Volume, Master Tone — simple yet expressive tone shaping.
• Strings: Nickel‑Plated Steel .009‑.042 gauge — ready‑to‑play set that matches the short scale.

Who Is It For – Versatile Players Seeking Vintage Vibe

The Paranormal Electric VI is the right choice for indie songwriters, jazz improvisers, and retro‑rock enthusiasts who need a compact instrument without sacrificing tonal depth. Its short scale and smooth neck cater to players with smaller hands or those who favor fast, expressive playing. Musicians looking for a guitar that delivers both clean clarity and gritty overdrive will appreciate the split‑coil pickups and rotary switch, while the Mustang tremolo invites subtle vibrato textures on stage or in the studio.

Fender’s Paranormal Series – Reimagining a Classic Era

Fender’s Paranormal line revives the experimental spirit of the 1960s Electric XII, merging that iconic silhouette with modern playability. By combining the historic offset body with updated hardware—such as the split‑coil “VI” pickups and a shorter scale—Fender creates a bridge between vintage aesthetics and today’s performance demands.
