I'm not a professional, so the review should be taken as such. Pros: Perfect set-up, low (muziker or factory, anyway the guitar came without problems), no noticeable fret buzz, the neck is thin enough for my small hands (and the width seems a bit smaller, a 42, 7 I think nut width). The pickups are incredible (if you like the vintage sound). Excellent for blues. It supports gain without becoming unclear (with overdrive and tube scream pedals from Boss and Marshall Governor), and on medium gain, crunch or relatively clean it sounds very clear and articulate. The neck pickup is creamy (but not as present as on a Slash, which is much more hooligan), and the bridge is never harsh or single coilish, not even when you reach the high register, after the 16th fret. Although it's Indian laurel, it came with a dark color, very close to rose. Apart from the specific porosity, you don't even notice that it's laurel. Satin - it doesn't bother me. Cons: fairly unpolished frets, but I guess that changes over time. Factory strings. A small area of paint leaking in one place, hardly visible. Compared to the former Gibson Tribute or Studio with 490 pickups, it seems to me a much superior guitar. In conclusion, it's good if you don't mind that it doesn't say Gibson on the headstock.
