TLC is an American girl group formed in Atlanta in 1990, best known for its lineup of Tionne Watkins, Lisa Lopes, and Rozonda Thomas. The group became one of the most successful acts of the 1990s, earning nine top ten hits on the Billboard Hot 100, including chart-toppers like "Creep," "Waterfalls," "No Scrubs," and "Unpretty." TLC released four multi-platinum albums, with CrazySexyCool achieving diamond status. They made history as the first R and B group to receive a million certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan for their album FanMail. With over 60 million records sold worldwide, TLC ranks among the best-selling American girl groups. Their achievements include four Grammy Awards and multiple other honors. After Lisa Lopes passed away in 2002, Watkins and Thomas continued as a duo, releasing their fifth album in 2017. In 2022, TLC was inducted into the Black Music and Entertainment Walk of Fame.
