7-string electric bass guitar from BTB series that offers a “boutique” design in reasonable price, featuring select-grade materials, neck-thru construction and top quality components, all in a meticulously crafted instrument. It has much deeper cutaways that allow for effortless access to the upper frets. Its extra-long 889mm neck scale offers tight, even tension with no flopping on the low end, and added sustain on the high strings. It also provides superior articulation, making it perfect for 7-string. Body of the instrument features a rosewood top and maple wings, combined with a BTB7 nine-piece maple/rosewood/walnut neck with graphite reinforcement rods. The neck is fitted with a rosewood fingerboard with abalone dot inlays and 24 medium frets. Nut width is 63 mm, radius of the fingerboard is 950 mm. The bass guitar is equipped with two passive CAP Sonic Arch single-sized humbucking pickups with blade pole pieces that deliver well-balanced traditional tone for any music and any style. The specialized 3-band EQ maximizes the characteristics of the pickups plus a bypass switch is included so that players can also use a passive sound. Neutrik locking jack provides stable and secure connections, preventing accidental disconnection or shock and vibration. The Mono-Rail bridge delivers the ultimate in string-to-string isolation, meaning that each string vibrates optimally without being affected by the others. BTB7’s string spacing is 15.5 mm, offering more freedom on the fingerboard and comfortable access for finger picking and slapping.
