Open-back 6-string banjo from Gretsch Roots Collection series that delivers an authentic tone and appointments and is styled after the innovative models of the early 20th century, exuding undeniably Gretsch vibe and attitude. It features a maple plywood rim with 24 brackets and resonator back, rolled brass tone ring with steel tension hoop and an 11” Remo Renaissance head. The maple, vintage “U”-shaped neck is fitted with maple fingerboard with 21 medium jumbo frets and pearloid dot inlays. Scale length is 635 mm, nut width is 42.8 mm. The instrument also features an armrest, maple/ebony bridge, plastic nut fret and hex truss rod nut, 1950’s Gretsch 6x6 headstock, Grover Sta-Tite die-cast machine heads, dual coordinating rods, ''no-knot''-style tailpiece and D’Addario Phosphor Bronze, Loop-End strings (gauges: .012-.053). Antique Semi-Gloss Maple Stain finish.
