The all-new Garmin HRM-Pro pokročil Advanced Wireless Sensor is a chest strap (heart rate monitor) with an integrated accelerometer for measurements associated with Advanced Running Dynamics. When used with another compatible device, Running Metrics data will not be available and the heart rate monitor will only function as a normal heart rate monitor, for example in conjunction with Edge devices. The ANT + wireless interface has been supplemented with Bluetooth. You can use the new HRM-Pro ™ not only with Garmin devices (ANT +) and thanks to Bluetooth also e.g. with a smartphone or exercise bike. Thanks to HRM-Pro ™, you can unify pulse measurement and recording not only when running and cycling but also when swimming (in an indoor pool or in open water). During swimming, it "stores" the measured pulse values ​​in the built-in memory (20-hour recording), where they are ready for immediate synchronization with compatible watches immediately after emerging or after training. The design of the chest strap provides high wearing comfort also thanks to the elastic strap, which is now extremely flexible. The material used is soft to the touch and flexible for reliable application.

When the heart rate monitor is connected to a compatible Garmin watch, the HRM-Pro heart rate monitor ™ provides real-time display and evaluation of run metric data:

Running Cadence: Cadence is the number of steps per minute. The displayed value is the sum of all steps (left and right foot).
Vertical oscillation: is the value of the "rebound" at reflection during running. The value of the vertical movement of the body, measured in centimeters for each step, is displayed.
Ground contact time: or Ground contact time defines the ground contact time at runtime for each step. Time is measured in milliseconds.
Advanced Running Dynamics, brings other complex measurements - stride length, balance of contact time with the ground - L / R foot and vertical ratio.
