Digital piano from Privia series that delivers a combination of an 88-key, tri-sensor, scaled hammer-action keyboard and a powerful sound engine. Keyboard features a simulated Ebony and Ivory textured keys for an incredible feel and its three sensors capture the dynamics of a performance with unparalleled speed and accuracy. To further enhance the experience, the action and the sound engine take into consideration the speed at which different sized hammers move inside acoustic grand relative to velocity the keys are pressed, this timing nuance provides the ultimate key to sound experience. Sound engine utilizes more than three times the memory of the previous Privia generation for a more natural piano tone. In addition, Casio’s new proprietary sound source “AiR” (Acoustic and intelligent Resonator) provides unmatched realism and detail. This engine provides seamless dynamics for a remarkably expressive and powerful performance. For further realism a new Damper Resonance simulator provides the rich sound of the strings when the sustain pedal is used. In additional to grand piano, digital piano offers many other instrument tones including strings, organs, electric pianos and bass. It also provides split and layer capability, a duet mode which allows splitting the keyboard into two equal ranges, a two track recorder that can record and playback the practice and performances. Piano provides “class compliant” USB connectivity and class Compliant USB MIDI that allows for using the piano as a controller for the Apple iPad by using Apple’s Camera Connection Kit (not included).
