I love Terré's instruments because they bring me back to naturalness and are made with sustainable materials. I was surprised at first, because the ocean sound - which it really is:) - can be evoked by using it as a non-traditional drum: holding it in your hand in your oil, developing focus and concentration, and using very gentle movements, you can achieve a sound reminiscent of the ocean waves, which is good for meditation and relaxation exercises. As a drum - I tested it by hand, with bodhran and zenko mallets - its sound is powerful for its size, if one can accept hearing some extra vibration next to it thanks to the bristles inside. The only reason I rated it a 4 was because of its hook, which, I suppose to protect it from wear and tear, has a plastic cover. All in all, I can recommend it with a really good heart, as it is beautiful, pleasant and multifunctional in use:)
