It's a great Meinl Cajon, very well pickup sound and cable sent to the machine. The ability to set Kic and Snare directly on the side of the Cajon is also remarkable. Despite the decent apparatus it plays very well big drum, small drum with string and percussion sounds anywhere on the walnut top board. The ability to have this Cajon resting on the knees with the body between the legs allows the player to sit upright and not slouch, as is the case with the usual Cajons, which are sat on and played on a vertical front board. In a sentence: a lot of music for little money! An excellent instrument. As a rock drummer, used to sitting behind a big drum kit, I find this variant of folk playing the only possible option for a drummer, if it has to be... I'm very happy about it. Plus, there's the option of practicing on the Cajon anywhere in the room at home without being hooked up to a machine, and it sounds very inspiring.
