Top-of-the line 12” djembefola that is carved from one solid piece of plantation grown mahogany wood and comes with a double rope runner tuning system with 30 runners. The shape of the instrument is different from other Meinl djembes and it is carved out on the inside to create the best possible sound projection. This special shape also keeps the tuning longer. The head of this drum is made using the highest grade goat hides available – selected for uniform thickness to give consistent warm tone and response. The pre-stretched ropes used in the tuning system are made of HTP nylon in 5mm thickness. Tiki Black colour.
