Pouring Medium is the ideal aid for pouring techniques with Acrylic paints. Colorful marble effects and flowing structures can be created. The cell structure characteristic for the pouring technique can be created with the LUKAS Pouring Medium even without the addition of silicone Oil. If mixing with silicone Oil is preferred, however, this procedure is also possible without any problems. Due to the improved flow properties of the Acrylic paints, the paint can also be easily distributed on the painting surface and leaves behind impressive and cell-like flow patterns. The medium dries glossy, waterproof and transparent to a flat, flexible film with a non-stick surface and is also scratch resistant.

Application: Pouring Medium can be mixed with Acrylic paint in any ratio. However, it is recommended to use considerably more Pouring Medium than Acrylic paint (e.g. in a ratio of 3:1). In the familiar cup technique, the colors diluted with the Pouring Medium are poured one after the other into a cup. This is placed on the painting base and lifted. By tilting the painting ground, the paint spreads out and creates impressive flow patterns.
