Cymbal Pads

Cymbal pads add crash, ride or extra cymbal sounds to an electronic kit. The number of zones, size, sensitivity and support for choke, the hand muting function, all matter. Compatibility with the module is also important because not every input reads edge, bow and bell in the same way.

Crash, ride and kit expansion

A simple crash pad is enough for basic accents, while a multi-zone ride pad gives more control for detailed playing. If you expand a kit, check free module inputs and the mounting arm or stand. For quiet home playing, a softer surface and good mechanical damping are useful.
